Ubani, a youth aspirant, told newsmen in an interview that Abia youths had resolved to deliver the one million votes as part of the strategy by the youths to take over power and actualise Igbo Presidency by 2023.
Ubani who spoke after signing a pact with the Nigeria Youth Corporate Social Responsibility Trust Fund (NYCSRF), Nigeria Youth Congress (NYC), National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) and Nigeria Youth Parliament to promote youth candidacy in 2019 and total take over in 2023.
Ubani who also spoke on behalf of Youth aspirants assured the youth leaders in attendance that as the former President of NYCSRF and a youth leader in his state, he is constantly in touch with the youth groups in Abia.
He added that the youth had pledge to deliver at least one million votes to President Muhammadu Buhari in anticipation that he would reciprocate by throwing his support for Igbo Presidency in 2023.
Ubani said that his candidacy is a divine mandate to salvage the youths from the bondage of political looters, adding that although he had no money to share, he was sure of victory.
He said that Abia state is blessed with abundant human resources and talents to service the Nigeria market and consumers with quality and a competitive local product.
He however stressed that only a visionary leader like him could harness the abundant human resource in the state and make the state and its youths self reliant.
He expressed appreciation to Rev Lucious Ugorji Catholic Bishop of Abia State, and the entire members of Catholic Men Organization CMO and Catholic Women Organization Organization CWO in the state for their massive support to his aspiration.
