 AGF Malami okays ex-Minister Oduah’s trial over alleged N7.9b fraud

The Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and Justice Minister Abubakar Malami (SAN) has issued a directive for the arraignment of a former Aviation Minister, now senator representing Anambra North, Stella Oduah, over her involvement in alleged N7.9 billion money laundering.

Malami’s directive is contained in a letter he sent to the Federal High Court in Abuja where the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had filed a charge against Oduah and others.

Other defendants named in the charge are: Gloria Odita, Nwosu Emmanuel Nnamdi, Chukwuma Irene Chinyere, Global Offshore and Marine Limited, Tip Top Global Resources Limited, Crystal Television Limited, and Sobora International Limited.
