Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has affirmed that the security and safety of lives and property in Lagos state under his watch will not be compromised
He assured Lagosians at the commissioning of the newly constructed Orimedu, Ibeju-Lekki Police Post that his administration will continue to take security seriously in the state, including partnering with corporate entities for a conducive environment for businesses to thrive.
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, represented by the special adviser on community and communications, Akeem Suleiman, reiterated his administration’s commitment to doing everything necessary to keep Lagosians and investors safe and secure.
Commissioner for local government and community affairs, Muslim Folami and the area commander, area J,Felix Oben stressed the importance of security for an emerging business hub as the Ibeju-Lekki axis.
The commissioning was graced by royal fathers, political leaders, representatives of corporate organizations and indigenes. An interactive session during the event afforded some of the residents to speak up on salient issues.
While commending the donor company,Governor Ambode said the commitment of the Lagos state government, demonstrated in various ways, has continued to gain the goodwill and partnership of well meaning individuals and the organised private sector
