Akpabio Resigns As Senate Minority Leader
A previous Governor of Akwa-Ibom State, Godswill Akpabio, has surrendered his situation as the Minority Leader of the Senate.
Akpabio, who speaks to Akwa-Ibom North-West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, tended to the letter to the Deputy Senate Minority Leader, Emmanuel Bwacha of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In his tweet on Tuesday, the Senator had offered his abdication letter on August 4, preceding making it open.
While expressing gratitude toward the Senate Minority administration and the restriction PDP of the chance to serve, he asked them to “please acknowledge the affirmation of my most astounding regard.”
He included, “This letter is to formally educate you of my acquiescence as the Senate Minority Leader with impact from August 4, 2018.”
