CJN SWEARS IN 30 NEW JUDGES CALLS FOR EVIDENCE AGAINST CORRUPT JUDGES
The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Mahmud Mohammed has called on Nigerians to present evidences of alleged corruption against judges.
Mohammed made the call, Wednesday in Abuja while administering Oath of office to 30 newly appointed judges of the Federal High Court.
The CJN reiterated the need for the judiciary to sanitize itself where allegations are made, noting that some judges and judicial staff may be complicit in corrupt practices.
He further charge the new judges to avoid being used by politicians for selfish gain.
Some of the new judges expressed joy on their new appointments while pledging their commitment to the job.
