Davido Becomes The First African Artist To Perform At The PFA Awards
Nigerian superstar Davido entertained the audience with a performance of the viral hit ‘Unavailable’ at the Professional Footballers Association awards ceremony last night. The event awards the outstanding players of the 2022/23 season and there were some surprises when Erling Haaland and Bukayo Saka received the main men’s awards. This makes him the first African artist to appear on the awards stage, celebrating his 50th birthday last night.
Phil Foden featured Davido’s song Unavailable while he was on vacation after three seasons. The Manchester City star won two Young Player of the Year awards last year but was absent from the gala dinner last night.
