Disaster Reduction

Despite the huge population associated with megacities, the Lagos state Goverment will continue to intensify efforts at managing and implementing strategies aimed at reducing disasters across the state.

This reaffirmation came as Lagos state joins the world to celebrate the 2017 international day for disaster reduction centred on reducing the number of people affected by disaster by 2030.
