Dogara Constitutes 96 Standing Committees

The House of Representatives has constituted the standing committees of the House after  four months it  was inaugurated as the 8th Assembly.

The Speaker, Yakubu Dogara read out the chairmen and deputies of the 96 standing committees to oversight various ministries, departments and agencies Just before plenary was adjourned on Thursday, October 22,

The standing committees of the House have increased from 89 in the immediate past 7th Assembly as new committees were created while other committees were split.
