Along with the 45 candidates that were accepted by the Red Chamber in August, the Senate has also confirmed three ministerial nominees: Jamila Ibrahim (Kwara State), Balarabe Lawal (Kaduna State), and Ayodele Olawande (Ondo State).

Following a letter from President Bola Tinubu to the Senate requesting its approval of the nominations, this has now happened

Wednesday afternoon at 1 pm, Senate President Godwill Akpabio put the nominees to a voice vote around two and a half hours after the process started.

The confirmation of the nominations was approved by the Senate.
