Entrepreneurs must empower themselves with new insights and ideas provided by government at every level towards the economic growth of the country, this is said at the ongoing MSME clinic holding in Lagos.
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode gave the charge at the National MSME clinic, Lagos State Edition.
Research shows that, The Medium Small and Micro Enterprises MSME is the engine of economic growth of any nation. The benefits and multiplier effects of investing in the sector results in positive socio-economic impacts at all levels, they includes job and wealth creation, progressive redistribution of wealth and innovation.
These and other reasons informed the National MSME clinic, Lagos state Edition, with the theme Diversifying the Nigerian economy by strengthening MSMEs.
In his keynote address, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode represented said, there must be concerted efforts on the part of Governments at all levels to focus on strengthening these agents of economic change towards increasing their capacity to diversify the nation’s economic base.
The participants had the opportunity of having first hand information from agencies of government on their new policies and how they can tap into the numerous business opportunities provided by the government.
The two day clinic is an initiative of the presidency of the federal republic of Nigeria in collaboration with the Lagos state ministry of commerce, industry & cooperatives.
Osinbajo To Inaugurate Clinic Today
Acting President Yemi Osinbajo will on Tuesday inaugurate the Lagos edition of the National Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Clinic.
The two-day MSME Clinic started yesterday and is holding today at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.
