Comrade Chinonso Obasi, the immediate past President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), has been appointed the Executive Director of African Students Education Support Initiative (ASESI).

“Obasi was the President of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) 2017/2018.

“He carried out interventions for the betterment of Nigerian students and Nigerian student’s leaders, supported masses oriented demands-call for local Government Autonomy by NULGE.

“ Obasi had represented Nigerian students in the 2014 Nigerian national Conference where he fought patriotically for the removal of the BSC and HND dichotomy in tertiary institutions.

“He had also represented Nigerian students in the first Nigerian Petroleum Summit in 2018 where he also made case for the students of Petroleum Training Institute(PTI) Effurun Delta State,’’ Ggbemiga said.
