Falz’ sister Folakemi writes Chief coroner to conduct Mohbad’s autopsy
In the document posted on her Instagram story, she called on the head of the investigation department to look into the tragic death of the late singer Mohbad. The document, submitted by his father’s law firm Femi Falana (SAN), is dated Monday, September 18, 2023. Falana, in his appeal, noted that Mohbad had no symptoms of illness before his death and that he is still active, She then requested a coroner’s inquest to determine the cause of death of the only 27-year-old singer.
Referring to the Lagos State Coroners Act, she demanded that the request be met as a matter of urgency. In his words: “In light of the unnecessary death of Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, we are compelled to request that you use your good office to ensure that the coroner’s investigation is conclusive as to the cause of death of this promising young musician and make appropriate recommendations in accordance with section 15.
