Gov Emmanuel sacks 2 magistrates connected with Akpabio

In front of the deserting of Senator Godswill Akpabio from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress, Gov. Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom has sacked two officials faithful to Akpabio.

The magistrates were sacked with quick impact for what was called “demonstration of unfaithfulness”.

They are the Commissioners for Labor, Productivity and Manpower Development, Mr Ibanga Akpabio, and Culture and Tourism, Mr Victor Antai.

The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Charles Udoh, said the two officials must be expelled from the State Executive Council for traitorousness to the senator.

Ibanga, who is a more youthful sibling to Sen. Godswill Akpabio was sacked close by Antai for getting Akpabio, a previous legislative leader of the state and Emmanuel’s antecedent, at the Ibom International Airport on Tuesday.

Akpabio flew into the state preliminary to his intend to desert from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the decision All Progressives Congress (APC).

Udoh said the officials must be expelled from the state official board following their “hesitance to agree to great administration forms.”

“With the improvement, they have been ordered to handover to the Permanent Secretary in their individual services previously the end of work on Wednesday, August 8,” he said.

The chief focused on that the couple indicated finish unfaithfulness to Emmanuel and along these lines couldn’t keep on remaining in the state official.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Akpabio on Tuesday offered his abdication as the Senate minority pioneer and will formally surrender to All Progressives Congress today
