In line with the directive of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode, the lagos state material testing laboratory has embarked on a non destructive intergrity test of all buildings in lekki and environs especially the ones constructed by lekki gardens …..
Acting General Manager of the agency Engr Rasheed Teslim-Balogun said the state government will not compromise on the standard of buildings in the state therefore any building that falls below standard will be demolished. This he said is in an attempt to ensure the safety of lives and property.
The integrity tests are to also determine the structural stability of the buildings and the durability of piles used for their foundations
This exercise would be a continous one and it is not meant for only residential buildings but also the ones under construction
