The Lagos state government is embarking on over two hundred and fifty grassroots self help projects spread across the 20 local governments and Local Council Development Areas which would be funded by government.
Special Adviser to the governor on Communities and Communications, Hon. Akeem Omoleye Sulaimon who was speaking at a stakeholders meeting emphasised Governor Akinwunmi Ambode’s commitment to take development to the grassroots.
He said about four to five self help projects would be executed in the 57 local governments and council development areas of the state.
In his remarks, Senior Special Assistant to the governor on community affairs, Alhaji Tajudeen Quadri said assisting the 3900 CDAs and 57 CDCs in the state in this regard would be tremendous benefit to people at the grassroots.
The CDA executives present commended Governor Akinwunmi Ambode giant strides at infrastructural renewal and development, endorsing him for a second term in office.
