Lagosians Wants FG and State Govt To Work On The Rail Project
Lagosians have recommended the synergy between the Federal government & Lagos State government on the ongoing rail modernisation project,Our Lagos Bureau chief Jubril Folami who visited Ebutemetta rail terminal in anticipation of the commencement of the Lagos phase of the rail modernisation project, reveals that, the people are full of expectations.
Sequel to the federal Government’s directive to the contractors handling the Apapa to Ebute metta 6.5km standard guage single track, Lagosians are eagerly waiting for the commencement & completion of the project.
Traders who spoke to Ltv crew off camera agreed that, trading on the railway corridor is not ideal for a megacity like Lagos. Some Lagosians advised the government to be more proactive & eradicate such in the area.
The modernisation project of the Federal government will compliments the Governor Ambode’s drive in repositioning the transportation system to world class, thus bringing succour to the people of Lagos state.
