LASG begins construction of inner roads.

The Lagos State Government is ready to start the reconstruction of two roads in each of the 20 local government and 37 local council development areas in the state.
Governor Akinwunmi Ambode who disclosed this at the Lagos House, Ikeja, during the monthly meeting with the executive secretaries of the 57 councils, added that the council bosses must ensure that the projects meet the international standard.
He also told the executive secretaries to review the progress report in their various communities as well as their challenges.
Ambode added that the ongoing reforms in the councils would make them more effective and reduce the cost of governance.
He reminded the executive secretaries that the performance of the administration would be judged by their performance, urging them to utilise the various channels of communication to improve the level of participation between the government and the community.
