Manchester City beat Bayern Munich 3-0 in Champions League quarter-final first-leg match

Manchester City took a big step towards the Champions League semi-finals with a 3-0 win against Bayern Munich in the first leg of their quarter-final clash.
Rodri, Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland provided the goals for the Premier League champions in a thoroughly dominant performance.
It took them almost half an hour to break the deadlock, but a world-class finish from Rodri from outside the box fired the English side into the lead.
There were signs of a possible comeback for the visitors at the beginning of the second half but City broke the game wide open in a six-minute period as Haaland provided a fantastic assist for Silva’s goal before scoring one of his own.
Pep Guardiola’s side will travel to the Allianz Arena with a three-goal advantage for the second leg next Wednesday.
