NDA Pays Courtesy Visit to LASUTH Management
The new executives of the Nigeria Dental Association (NDA), Lagos State Chapter paid a courtesy visit to the Management of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) on Wednesday 17th of April, 2021.
The Chairman of the Association, Dr. Olusanya Oluwole appreciated the Management for the reception and support despite the busy schedules of members. He briefly explained that the advocacy visit is to meet all critical stakeholders so as to drive the purpose of the Association.
He also said the visit was to acknowledge and give due honour to the office of the Chief Medical Director; considering there would be times his Association would come with some requests during this tenure.
The Chief Medical Director of LASUTH, Prof. Adetokunbo. O. Fabamwo, in his address acknowledged LASUTH as having one of the best dental services in the country with many committed professionals rendering excellent services. “I am so impressed with the passion and commitment of the members of staff of the Dental Unit”, he said. He made it known that he has the utmost respect for the profession.
He commended the Chairman and members of the Association for the visit and congratulated the new executives, saying he knows that they have plans outlined for the next one-year to be achieved, so “LASUTH as an institution pledges to assist the Association in whichever area that it is needed and we hope that the institution also gets support when the need arises”.
Prof Fabamwo welcomed the visiting executives and hoped that the visit would jump start the beginning of excellent relationship between both institutions and departments.
