Ola Aina named Nottingham Forest’s Player for September

Tuesday saw the announcement of Temitayo Olufisayo Olaoluwa Aina, also known as Ola Aina, as Nottingham Forest’s Player of the Month for September 2023.
After the defender imitated fellow countryman Taiwo Awoniyi, who won in August, Nigeria has now won two matches in a row.
The English Premier League team announced that Ola Aina has been chosen as September’s Player of the Month on its official website.
After leaving Torino, the 26-year-old joined Forest on a free transfer and has since made a mark. He has played five times in the current Premier League season.
The adaptable full-back, who can play on either flank, has played on both the left and right side of defence thus far this season, putting up a streak of strong performances.
Aina received 40% of the vote overall and was chosen by Forest fans as the Player of the Month for September as a result. We appreciate every voter, Forest wrote.
Aina missed Sunday’s Premier League game at the City Ground’s 1-1 draw against Brentford because he is now sidelined with muscular issues.
Forest manager Steve Cooper stated, “Ola (Aina) is out with muscle injuries,” adding that a return date is not yet determined.
Due to the injury, the defender will be out for the Super Eagles’ upcoming friendlies against Saudi Arabia and Mozambique.
