President Muhammadu Buhari has received his letter of expression of Interest and Nomination Form (s) to contest the APC Presidential primaries later this month.
Receiving the document presented to him by a group under the auspices of Nigeria Consolidation Ambassadors Network, President Buhari said he is seeking re-election to consolidate on the gains recorded by his administration since 2015.
The President who narrated the many challenges encountered in his political journey since 2002 believes that elections conducted in Nigeria between 2003 and 2011 were marred by irregularities which made the outcomes questionable.
He however said the introduction of the Permanent Voters Card in the 2015 polls gave rise to a credible electoral process that provided an opportunity for the Peoples vote to count.
President Muhammadu Buhari used the forum to lambast those who recently defected from the ruling All progressives Congress APC, saying they were the weakest whose sense of expectation did not align with the vision of his administration.
The forms which cost Forty five million naira was purchased for the President by the group which has presence in the six Geopolitical zones of the country.
