James Ibori Arrested by DSS on arrival, then released

The former governor of Delta State, James Ibori arrived Nigeria in the early hours of today 4th February, 2017 after serving a 13 year jail term for fraud in the UK.
Ibori was picked up by men believed to be operatives of the Department of State Service (DSS) and then taken to the head office for what was described as briefing. He was released after meeting with the director General of DSS, Lawal Daura.
He is reportedly on his way to Oghara, his hometown where he is eagerly being awaited in by his relations and supporters.
