Paris Saint-Germain eliminated Lionel Messi and Barcelona from the Champions League with a 1-1 draw in the second leg of their round of 16 matchup to advance on aggregate.

Mbappe calmly stepped up to the penalty spot and fired a strike into the upper left side of the net.
Messi scored an equalizer for Barcelona in the 37th minute. Barcelona midfielder Pedri slipped a pass to Messi about 30 yards from the goal to spark that sequence. Messi then dribbled about five yards forward and curled a strike into the upper left corner of the net to beat PSG keeper Keylor Navas.PSG left back Layvin Kurzawa then took Barcelona’s Antoine Griezmann down in the PSG box late in the first half to prompt a Barcelona penalty kick.
Messi stepped up to the penalty spot in the third minute of first-half stoppage time. He struck the ball toward the middle of the net, but Navas managed to block the shot with his feet.
Each team had chances to score in the second half, but couldn’t manage to break the deadlock
