 SANWO-OLU ASKS CABINET MEMBERS TO ENSURE ENFORCEMENT OF LAGOS STATE LAWS

In order for Lagos people to live in a rational, secure, and safe society, Lagos State Governor Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has instructed newly appointed cabinet members and Permanent Secretaries to guarantee rigorous execution and enforcement of all state laws.
In keeping with his administration’s THEMES+ Agenda for a Greater Lagos, he encouraged the incoming State Executive Council members to get right to work on fulfilling campaign promises and democracy’s dividends for Lagosians. Sanwo-Olu reassigns Finnih-Awokoya and Olowu to special adviser positions.
During the ongoing four-day 2023 Onboarding retreat program for members of the State Executive Council, the group of Permanent Secretaries, and heads of various agencies and parastatals, held in Epe, Lagos, Governor Sanwo-Olu addressed yesterday. The retreat’s subject, which began on Thursday and runs through tomorrow, Sunday, is “Navigating Government Excellence: Role of Leadership in Ensuring A Greater Lagos Rises.”cZero tolerance for breaking the law, according to Governor Sanwo-Olu, who added that all cabinet members and permanent secretaries have been given the authority to act honorably, was one of the retreat’s key takeaways.
