Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated former Commissioner for Home Affairs and Culture in the State, Chief Oyinlomo Danmole, on his 70th birthday.
Governor Sanwo-Olu in a statement issued on Friday by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Gboyega Akosile, described Danmole, the Director-General of Lagos Religious Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council (PCC), as a disciplined lawyer and politician, who has used his experience and positions for the growth and development of Lagos State.
He said: “On behalf of my wife, Ibijoke, the Lagos State Government, the good people of Lagos State and our party, the All Progressives Congress, I join family, friends, associates and our party members, to rejoice with Chief Oyinlomo Danmole, on the joyous occasion of his 70th birthday.
“Chief Danmole is a thoroughbred politician whose contribution to the progress and development of our dear State cannot be minimised. He served Lagos State passionately as Commissioner for Home Affairs and Culture, as well as other political offices.
“He has always been part of the progressive forces in Lagos and a leader in his own right in our party, All Progressives Congress in the Lagos Central Senatorial District. He is currently mobilising the religious groups for the victory of APC in the 2023 general elections.
“As Chief Oyinlomo Danmole joins the Septuagenarian Club, I pray that God will increase him in good health to enable him to render more service to our party, Lagos State and humanity.”
