SAUDI AUTHORITIES HONOUR KANO STATE GOVERNMENT
The Office of Establishment for African non – Arab Pilgrims, in Saudi Arabia, has bestow honour on Kano state government handing an award of Excellence for its performance in the Hajj 2015.
Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje TODAY described the award as a recognition of his administration’s compliance with Saudi regulations on the annual religious obligation.
He said the rental of accommodation in distinct places for Kano pilgrims was odd, this he informed he decision by the state government to secure accommodation for it pilgrims within same vicinity in the holy land.
He disclosed that the state deputy governor, who supervises the state Pilgrims Welfare Board, had directed that agency should commence the Hajj Savings Scheme, assuring that the government would continue to give it necessary support to enable it serve better.
