Special Report On Somolu

This is Somolu Local government. Somolu is one of the old communities in Lagos, south-west Nigeria, with the population of about 500,000 which is approximately 2.3% of the total population of Lagos.

The Local government was created in 1976 out of the old Mushin local government. As the area developed, Kosofe local government was carved out of it in 1996.
