The House of Representatives has said  that there was no likelihood that the House would reject President Muhammadu Buhari’s 2015 supplementary budget when submitted to the legislators.

Both the House Leader, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, and the House Minority Leader, Mr. Leo Ogor, said the budget would be entertained by the House.

Gbajabiamila, in particular, noted that Buhari could even bring both the supplementary budget and the 2016 budget proposals at the same time.

However, Ogor stated that the House expected the President to be detailed about the sources of funding for the supplementary budget, considering the “embarrassing implementation” of the main 2015 budget.

The Presidency had on Sunday given hints on the decision of Buhari to forward a supplementary budget to the National Assembly.
